GROOMING SERVICES

All grooms are completed to the relevant breed standards and/or owner requirements upon request, and where coat condition permits. We are always available to discuss your dog(s) groom via WhatsApp/telephone during normal working hours, before your appointment, or in person when you drop-off.
While we work with most breeds and sizes, on occasion we do decline to offer appointments. More often than not this will be related to the welfare of the dog, for instance, if we believe a veterinary groom under sedation might be best.

Long, silky, wire and wool coats

Full groom

A warm showerbath with deep cleansing shampoo and conditioner, blowdry, brush out, de-matting, full haircut and style, sanitary trim, nail clip, eyes cleaned, ears pluck and powdered, coat finished with conditioning treatment and cologne (specific treatments determined by dog breed, condition and needs). Groom feedback and aftercare advice provided.

We recommend that all long coated dogs are maintained on at least an 8 week full groom schedule.

Wash, dry and tidy

A warm showerbath with deep cleansing shampoo and conditioner, blowdry, brush out, basic face and feet trim tidy, sanitary trim, eyes cleaned, ears powdered, coat finished with conditioning treatment and cologne. Groom feedback and aftercare advice provided.

A service used by some clients between full grooms, to improve dog welfare and comfort.

Short, smooth and double coats

Wash, dry and de-shed

A warm showerbath with deep cleansing shampoo and conditioner, undercoat removal (if applicable; blasting, brushing and raking), blowdry, brush out, body outline trim (if applicable) sanitary trim, nail clip, eyes cleaned, ears pluck and powdered, coat finished with conditioning treatment and cologne. Groom feedback and aftercare advice provided.

We recommend that all short, smooth and double coated dogs are maintained on at least a 12 week full groom schedule.

PRICING NOTES

When you contact us to arrange an appointment we will quote a guide price for our services, based on the information you supply and your answers to our questions.

This is the best that we can do without sight of your dog(s) condition and/or assessment of any behavioural problems.

Issues like poorly maintained, overgrown, or matted coats take time to remedy, whether to break matts and brush through, or if this is not possible, to shave the pelt.

This additional time required increases the price, as does the wear and tear on scissors and blades.

Dogs which require special handling due to excessive weight or skin conditions, with behavioural issues necessitating muzzling, or needing frequent breaks, will cost more to groom.

CANCELLATIONS

Usually cancellations are avoidable, but when they are not, we require 24 hours notice minimum to change/cancel an appointment.

Failure to provide at least 24 hours notice will result in a charge equivalent to the price of the full groom which must be paid prior to your next appointment.

Providing advance notice gives us the opportunity to fill your grooming slot and rearrange our schedule, in order that we may earn a full day's pay.


PAYMENT

We exclusively accept CASH as form of payment.

We DO NOT accept cards, bank transfer, cheques or PayPal.
